Wanted: Small Amp / Big Sound

February 16, 2014 By Ted 4 Comments

068-twin

The age old search for beautiful tone in a lightweight amp, that won’t cause a tiny amount of spinal chord damage each time there’s a gig continues…

I did a duo gig this past week and hauled out my Fender Twin for the occasion. This was a corporate event and not easily accessed from the road so there was a bit of ‘heavy lifting’ involved for a considerable distance.

It really wasn’t that bad, but I’m open to try some different, lighter amps for this kind of situation. The Twin is really more amp than I need for this kind of gig.

If you’ve got any suggestions, I’d love to hear them! Use the form at the bottom of the page to drop me a line. Thanks in advance!
